This manual will help those looking to update and repair old computer CPU as well as provide a guide for recycling procedures. Any unfamilar or technical terms can be found in the Defintions and FAQ section. Additional terms to know include, e-waste or electronics that will be disposed of. This links to a guide on how to reduce your e-waste! CPU stands for central processing unit and carries out the processing functions of the computer. CPUs retrieve, edit, and return all the data your computer uses. Finally to upgrade a CPU, you will be be working with various hardware or the physical components of the computer.
